Q:My 1997 Dodge Ram 3500 is a van and has a 5.2L engine 8 cyl.  Is this still the correct distributor?  My shop book says the Camshaft Position Sensor in located inside the distributor.  Does this one have the Camshaft Position Sensor inside?  The date of manufacture on the door of the van is 8/1996.  Would that make a difference? Show Less

A:BEST ANSWERHi Susan, I'm glad to assist you. It comes with the cam and head and part of the whole distributor assembly. The camshaft position sensor is a different part.
