Super easy to install and saves you when opening your tailgate. Biggest issue with this is that once you get yours installed and using it, you’ll drop other tailgates as it was yours, only to have it slam open on the cables. This is an easy installation that makes opening the tailgate easier with your hands full.

Installation was pretty straight forward. The T50 torx wrench provided is pretty much useless. Buy a T50 torx socket , will make removing the tailgate cable bolt much easier

Hi Mark,
This is just for one side. Installation only requires one on the tailgate.

Answered by Arnel E. / Thu, Feb 18It is not a pair, it is a single unit. Install on drivers side only. Do not use the Torx wrench they give you, it will strip the cable bolt. Spend a couple of dollars and buy a torx socket, it will save you time and a headache.
