So, I was having this issue with my car idling way too high, which was pretty annoying. Turns out, the throttle position sensor was the culprit. Replacing that little guy totally solved the problem. It's amazing how one small part can make such a big difference. Now my idle is back to normal, and it's so much smoother. If you're dealing with a similar high idle, definitely check that sensor. It's a surprisingly easy fix.

So I was a bit skeptical when I ordered this because it was Soo much cheaper than what was being sold at part stores. I needed this part rather quickly and I didn't have time to wait for a week to have the part ordered through the part stores, so I took a chance and rolled the dice. It arrived within 2 days. Hello!
You'll want to use the same style of seal that was on your vehicle originally. So, if your old sensor has an o-ring, use the o-ring. If your old sensor has a gasket, use the gasket.

1. Car won’t accelerate, lacks power when accelerating, or accelerates itself.
2. Engine won’t idle smoothly, idles too slowly, or stalls.
3. Car accelerates, but won’t exceed a relatively low speed, or shift up.
4. Check Engine Light comes on, accompanied by any of the above behaviors.
