This fuel pressure regulator says its not for Rex/Regina. Is it only for Bosch systems? Do you carry a Rex/Regina version @ $18.49? 92 Volvo 940 GL non-turbo.Rex C.Apr 03, 2022
Best Answer:Hi Rex, I'm glad to assist you. Yes, this is not compatible with the Rex/Regina version. We do not show or carry a 2nd different type based on the fitment information of another brand that we have. This is compatible with the turbocharged engine only. Still, you might need other parts, such as an OEM fuel filter. We have one on lowered price offer today with part number H84WK01. Click the link below to check and order it, if ever. I hope this helps. Happy shopping. https://www.carparts.com/details/Volvo/940/Hengst/Fuel_Filter/1992/GL/4_Cyl_2-dot-3L/HENH84WK01.html?can=CPJE1043_20220403

What pressure will this valve hold with no vacuum?Joseph R.Oct 19, 2021
Best Answer:This regulator is designed to hold variable fuel pressure. Under high throttle it will allow more fuel pressure, under a light or medium load there will be more vacuum and less fuel pressure. If this regulator is bad the car will run terrible a light throttle , or low rpm , but will clear up under a heavier throttle. If the regulator is bad you will be able to blow straight through the vacuum ports because the diaphram is ruptured. Assuming that the regulator is good and you want to actually view the pressure, all you need to do is install a vacuum meter in-line and record the pressure and how the engine is running and at what rpm , load and speed. If I feel like it’s bad I just replace it and I’ve been correct. I hope this helps you.
