Best Answer:Hi John, thank you for reaching out. The camshaft position sensors of the Volkswagen Toureg with a V6 engine are on each bank of the cylinders. They are located on the front of the engine, near the top of the cylinder head covers. The sensors are usually positioned on the cylinder head covers just above the camshaft sprockets. However, it's important to note that the exact location of the sensors can vary depending on the year, make, and model of your Touareg. We highly suggest you refer to a vehicle-specific repair manual for the diagram.
