Rotor disk/Brake pads multiple sizes issues
Ordered both front and rear rotor disks and brake pads for my 2012 VW Jetta TDI Premium. Based on make/mode/year of car, I bought these replacement parts. Unfortunately for me, the rear rotor disks and brake pads are the wrong size, so GUARANTEED FIT for my vehicle was incorrect. Come to find out, the 2012 VW Jetta TDI model comes with different rear rotor/pad sizes....and I was led down the wrong rabbit hole! So beware, verify which size you have first. Nowhere is that written per say and I found out the hard way. A recommendation for CarParts is show that multiple sizes exists for a specific year/make/model before a purchase is made. I trusted the info given instead of measuring disks ahead of time. How was I supposed to know. Otherwise, the front rotors/pads were installed easily and items bought arrived in a timely manner. But now, I am waiting on the correct rotors/pads and have not heard anything for a few days now....leaving my vehicle undriveable for now....just bad luck!
