Fair Product with Cheap Fasteners
Upon installing the window glass in the clamps the bolt snaped off, shearing at the base. I had used very little pressure and the nut was aligned correctly to be secured. I's just the inexpensive metals used were weak, both the bolt, nut and the clamp plate. I had to replace the bolt and clamp with the originally used hardware from the uninstalled unit to complete the job. Other than this item the cables and mechanism worked fine.

Based on the above review, i approached this install cautiously. I have never done a VW window.. took me 2 hours at most, start to finish with no experience, paying attention the previous review about hardware being weaker... WILL BUY AGAIN!!!
