My VW mechanics warned about installing an aftermarket, nonstock cat, and they wouldn't install. A little muffler shop did the work. Got engine codes for cat the past several years, didn't get one for two months with the new one, and now on all the time.

FAILED state inspection
This catalytic converter is not eficient enough to make my check engine light go out or pass NJ state inspection per my factory VW dealer. Everything else on my vehicle is functioning normally which means the catalytic converter must be replaced with another, and I will be returning my purchase from you.
