Front, Driver And Passenger Side Window Visor, Smoke
Don't let Volkswagen deter you
I recently purchased Weathertech Vent Visors for my new 2008 VW Beetle. The Beetle has electric windows with "Pinch Protection", which means if something - like a hand - is caught in the window as it goes up, it automatically goes down. VW service department said they stopped installing 'in track' vent visors because they were having problems with the Pinch Protection safety feature, i.e., the Vent Visors were activating the Pinch Protection safety feature. After installing my set of Vent Visors, I have not experienced any problems with the VW Pinch Protection getting activated as I put my windows up and down. The ease of installation and the look would cause me to recommend Weathertech Vent Visors for any VW Beetle owner.
