These do not work on my 2006 beetle. I have put them in several times and i get nothing on either side. Factory lights still connect fine. What am i missing?BrianJan 06, 2022

I have 1 2010 Beetle Convertible. We installed the driver and passenger side headlights without much issue. When we tested the lights, neither light worked. Blinkers and stop lights worked fine but neither headlight would illuminate. We checked the connection at the electrical plugs and they look like they are coupled into the vehicle's receiver.   My next step is to remove one light and compare the new light's electrical connector pins to the original to confirm the connector pins match the original. Any other suggestions to resolve this issue before I return these lights?Robert R.Jan 09, 2022
Best Answer:Hello! The first thing I would do is confirm that there are actually bulbs installed in these assemblies. If your old bulbs are good, you can try swapping them in to see if they work, otherwise, I agree with your idea of making sure the connector pins are in the correct location and not bent etc.

Works but doesn’t work
Easy to remove and install, however lights do not turn on, original headlights and bulbs work fine. We tried removing the orange plug and directly plugging the new headlights and it works but it won’t slide back in. We might need to break the original bracket that houses that orange plug.
