Power Magnumforce Stage-2 Pro 5R Series Cold Air Intake, Oiled Plastic Tube Black
cold air intake works!
I recently had Dinan stage 1 software installed and was thing about installing the Dinan ram air intake. However, the dealer wanted $1600 which I thought was too expensive. I purchased the cold air intake for about $400 and my friend installed it in my 650i. Noticeable, intake noise-but appealing, pulls past redline-noticeable high rpm gains, but the biggest gain was not expected. The first substantial trip up the freeway to Los Angeles, the gas mileage at 80 MPH was consistently 27.4-28 miles per gallon. That is a gain from about 22.4 on average! That is unbelievable for a high performance automobile like the 650i. I figure horsepower to be around 380hp with the changes made-the car is very quick and gets great freeway mileage now.
