Toyota vehicles are well-known for having problems with the EGR Vacuum Switching Valve (VSV), which could also trigger code P0401. Egr Valve
I only buy from <a href="http://carparts.com" target="_blank">carparts.com</a> now!! Love this company
I only buy from this company, I was concerned that while shopping for parts that online businesses weren’t legitimate or what my experience might be.
I started with a small inexpensive part, which on carparts.com was way cheaper than any of my local parts stores and faster.
Also concerned that I have a couple of older cars and the parts are sometimes difficult to find.
I have now successfully made over four orders and the parts arrived to me before my mechanic was even able to order them. Not to mention Toyota hasn’t had the parts I needed.
The orders arrive quickly, they will refund me when I don’t need a part or bought the wrong one, and they send me regular updates to track my order.
In some cases it’s even arrived before the expected date.
I’m so happy with them that when my mechanic told me on a Saturday he had to call Toyota Monday, I said don’t bother and ordered all the parts on the phone right on the spot. Parts arriving Tuesday when my appointment with the mechanic is.
