Can these be retro fit from HID TO Halogen?Brad R.Apr 03, 2022
Best Answer:Hi Brad, I'm glad to assist you. You will need to buy an HID to halogen headlight conversion kit. The HID headlights need ballast and have a different type of bulb which means its socket connectors are different compared to the halogen headlights. New headlight made all the difference in night driving
Works great! Looks OEM. It's just too bad that the bumper had to be removed to install the new unit! Would have been nice to know that installation was difficult and time-consuming. Old unit had corroded around the bulb socket, so bulb didn't (and couldn't) project properly down the road.
