This side-view mirror was virtually indistinguishable from the OEM it replaced on my Outback. Installation was a breeze and only took about half an hour start-to-finish. I saved a ton of money on the part (thanks AP Warehouse!) and on labor by doing all the work myself. I used the plain non-paintable cap since the original wasn't painted; you may want to paint yours if your trying to match the other side. Make sure you also pick up some auto trim removal tools, they're super cheap and necessary to remove the interior door panel without damage. Look at some videos online if you've never done it before, it will make it much easier to do a professional install.
