Just like the LoadLifter 5000’s, the LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Plus air springs from Air Lift were engineered to add load-leveling support for improved handling and reduced bottoming when you’re hauling a massive load in your truck or van, but these puppies also include long-lasting, stainless steel air spring hardware, roll plates and air lines as well as an exclusive internal jounce bumper that helps absorb shock and offers optimum, 3-stage ride comfort. Air Lift patented their first air spring suspension in 1950 and have been an industry leader ever since.
- Provides up to 5,000 pounds of load-leveling support (not in excess of your application’s recommended Gross Vehicle Weight Rating)

This is the top of the line for this type of load assist! Many of the parts are stainless steel, so they will look as good as they work far into the future. The weak point in other systems I have had is plastic air lines, but not a problem with this one, as they are beautiful braided stainless lines. Easy to route and very clean look when done. I ran mine to the two upper license plate holes, so it blends into the bumper seamlessly. The bags are separate from the coil springs (not inside as some other systems) making them much more effective and easier to install. I did have to pull the wheels to get better access to put them in place, but not hard at all to install on a 2016 Ram 2500 4x4. With the wide range of pressure allowed, 5-100 psi, I now have the ability to easily adjust the ride height with any amount of load in the back or on the trailer. They can even run with no pressure without damaging them due to the built in bump stop, giving me peace of mind if something does leak in the future. Overall very pleased with this purchase.
