2014 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel Crew Cab 140" Wheelbase
Excellent fit, quality, and price! This system took a little bit of persuading to get it to fit properly. The guy at the muffler shop I frequent had a bit of a hard time connecting the tail section, but he managed to do it. Alignment is on point, but you do have to be careful when tightening the clamps. The pipes tend to shift and can end up off center at the exhaust tip molding at the rear exits. Tack weld helped keep them in place prior to tightening the clamps. Now for the ones that own the Ecodiesel models, I would suggest not buying it if you are merely looking for a deeper exhaust note...it isn't there. I am sure the 5.7 models will definitely benefit from a deeper exhaust note, since this system is basically a muffler delete kit with bigger diameter piping. I guess time will tell if my mpg has improved with this system. I coupled this system with an aFe cold air intake kit. I will say that the truck is much more responsive and turbo lag is not as bad when the system was stock. Once again, Ecodiesels will not gain any noticeable deeper exhaust note. But a system still worth getting imo.
