Perfect fit and installed in less than an hour. Did not have to disconnect negative battery terminal. Only issue was with the packaging that blower motor was shipped in, both clips were broken off loose in bottom of box when first opened. These clips help hold the blower motor up inside the dash making it so much easier to fasten bolts. Would definitely purchase again!

I first ordered a different blower with plastic spokes from the shaft to the fan blades and returned that unit. The solid cone attaching the blades on this blower are much much better. The unit was well made and fit perfect into my 2012 Touareg TDI Executive. A little difficult to access and took me about 2 hours doing it for the first time. Dealer quoted about $400+ for the part and another $300 for labor. Everything fit perfectly and I was thrilled when my fan speed worked perfectly upon completion. <a href="http://Carparts.com" target="_blank">Carparts.com</a> had the part shipped the same day I ordered and I love their website and ordering experience.
