I have a 2017 hyundai elantra limited and I was told to get a power steering assist module is this the right thing ?ReinaOct 03, 2022
Best Answer:Hi Reina, I'm glad to assist you. Yes. It is similar to that. However, we do not carry one for the given vehicle application. Still, you might need other parts, such as a sway bar link kit or a set of tie rods (inner and outer). We have these in stock. Please tell us if you need any of these parts so we can send you a link for you to click and order them, if ever. I hope this helps.

Hi? I have a 2005 Chevy Malibu and its super hard to turn the steering wheel, and i thought it just needed power steering fluid. But there is no place to put that at. So i went  to Auto Zone, and they told me i needed to buy this for my car!!! Is this what i really need to buy for my car? Or is it something else? Any other ideas???Julian V.May 15, 2021
Best Answer:Hello! Assuming there are no wiring or power supply issues, this would indeed be the part to replace

Best Answer:Hi Dakota, I'm glad to assist you. This would simply be the power steering assist motor itself only as per our supplier's online catalog resource. Please click the 1st link below for your reference. Please click the 2nd link below once you are to order the part. I hope this helps. Do I have to do a calibration after installing the Power Steering Assist Motor Module for a 06Malibu?Timothy R.Mar 29, 2021
Best Answer:Hi Timothy, The submodel of the vehicle is an important fitment detail on this part. This part is guaranteed to fit the 2006 Chevrolet Malibu LT, LTZ, LS, Maxx LS, Maxx LT, Maxx LTZ (NOTE: This part does NOT fit the SS and Maxx SS Submodels). Please check the vehicle submodel. You can do a manual reset on this part. Turn ignition switch OFF, and turn ignition switch ON. The EPS indicator comes on for about 6 seconds. Within 4 seconds of turning the switch ON, while the EPS indicator is on, turn the steering wheel 45° to left from the straight-ahead driving position, and hold the steering wheel in position until the EPS indicator goes off. I hope this helps. Happy shopping.

Do I have to do a calibration after installing the power steering electric assist motor module? It’s on 06 Pontiac G6.Carl S.Mar 19, 2021
Best Answer:Hi Carl, This part is guaranteed to fit the 2006 Pontiac G6 Base All Engines (NOTE: This is NOT for the GT and GTP Submodels). Yes, it needs to be programmed. All body control module needs to be flashed or reprogrammed to link to the sensors and monitors of an individual vehicle in order for them to work correctly. This needs to be completed by a dealer or some automotive specialists, as they control security codes to reprogram these systems.
