Product Q&A

Concerned about the blue boot  on the ball joints my experience with the boot, its to thick it doesn't allow the stem to go all the way up into the knuckle I finally had to use my floor jack in order to push it up enough to slide the crew in, it was difficult until I relished what I had to do. Never went thru that before putting in a ball joint that boot is a problem what can be done about that?Philip J.May 27, 2024
Best Answer:Hi Philip, I'm glad to assist you. We have rare bad/negative feedback on how difficult this part is to install to the front lower control arms of the selected vehicle application. You might need to grease the surface of the boot to make it slide easily (and become slippery) into the knuckle arm. I hope this helps!
