These are front-loaded struts that come pre-assembled and ready to install. You don't even need a spring compressor. Just unbolt the whole unit and replace it.

Best Answer:Hello! It is a twin tube shock, with a piston separating the gas and hydraulic fluid. They are not built to be adjustable, or charged.

I do not recommend buying from <a href="http://carparts.com," target="_blank">carparts.com,</a> I originally ordered a part on September 7th due for arrival on September 10th.., I called on September 11th to find that it was still sitting in their warehouse at which time the order was supposed to be canceled as I searched and purchased local, on the 16th of September they issued a reshipment and refused to cancel the shipment stating that the order was only placed with a lost ticket and not canceled, their customer service was arrogant when I asked why the order was not canceled and she told me that I'm going to have to receive the order and go through the entire process of returning items that I no longer need because a shipping label was printed, I called FedEx and canceled the shipment because customer service refused to cancel the order as a return to sender to even avoid pickup from their warehouse, and still have not received the refund of my payment yet, this is she was probably going to take months to settle while I'm out the $180 that I paid.
