Product Q&A

If the transmission speed sensor is located in the valve body, where is the SC 479 automatic transmission output shaft speed sensor located on my 07 pathfinder?richard v.May 23, 2020
Best Answer:Hi Richard, I had to do a little research to answer this question and my first response (the one that automatically got emailed) appears to be partially incorrect. It looks like there is a revolution sensor mounted on the transmission (from the diagram, it appears to be on the left-hand side). But if you're only missing reverse, it's highly unlikely that this sensor is your problem. No reverse gear usually indicates an internal transmission problem or (if you're lucky) an issue with the valve body. For a definitive answer, you’ll need to visit a repair facility in your area for a professional, in-person assessment. Good luck!

Where is this part located on a Titan 4x4 ? l have replaced the other speed sensor on the inside of transmission haven't seen this partRob K.Dec 16, 2023
Best Answer:Hi Rob, thank you for reaching out. You can check the tail housing of the transmission near the parking pawl, since we don't have the exact vehicle information. We also suggest referring to a vehicle-specific repair manual for the diagram. If your vehicle information matches this product, you can use this link to order this part at a discounted price today while supplies last: ehttps://www.carparts.com/automatic-transmission-output-shaft-speed-sensor/standard/sisc479?can=CPAP3648_CSQA_20231216 I hope this helps.
