Does a catalyst substrate come with the Evan Fischer Converter #REPN960307? This is for a 2002 Nissan Sentra XE, and noticed there was a 'mesh' filling the inside of the to-be-replaced existing catalytic converter cores. My understanding is that this 'mesh' is a substrate that converts noxious exhaust to less harmful emissions, and I do not see this mesh in the photos for the referenced part. Direct fit but tricky
The bolt holes line up perfect but the body of the converter makes it very hard almost near impossible to get the 2 middle bolts in the top flange. I drilled out the threads and used 2 bolts and nuts but with just 15 more mins of work this is a great converter.

Exact fit
Bolts wouldn't fit in the middle bolt holes in between flange and body of converter. Had to fabricate studs for two bolts and the pipes from the exhaust flange was to long to go into converter so I had to cut the ends og the pipes to go in.
