But, one important detail noted on the fitment information is to check the production date of your car, for the 2005 Mini Cooper. This one says "Production Date To May 31, 2005". This means if the production date on the driver-side door jamb of your car is beyond this date. This is not compatible. But if the production date is on or before the given date, this is 100% compatible with your Mini Cooper (if you have the 2005 year). works fine if you don't mind oppisit switching
shipping was fast enough. but the issue is the motor turns the wrong way, so switch up is window down and switch down is window up. Now since there are other reviews of that happening I am thinking there is NO quality control. so buy at your own risk. The upside is that after contacting customer service I now have a regulator coming. the down side is now I have to use my old motor to make it work. Now if I wanted to do that to begin with I could have saved myself the hassle and ordered the regulator only. But I wanted the whole thing new. Now I have to worry about how long before I take it all apart again. Anyway, caution is warranted when buying this item.
