Remarkable to get a brand new, compatible, functional, turn signal/wiper stalk for a 27 year old Ford Taurus wagon. Original crumbled in my hand, parts falling everywhere, plastics had aged out. But this fixed it, and very necessary for safe operation of the car.

Failed after just over a year
Installed this switch just over a year ago. As one person stated, it was stiff to activate but I had no real issues with that. The wiper timer worked flawlessly which is why I had to replace the original switch. However, last night I used it to signal passing a vehicle. When I return to my lane the blinker was still on even though it was in the center position. I turned it to the left and that was the last of it. Never worked again. So I am a little disappointed in the fact that it did not last very long. Most likely will not be buying this brand again.
