I have a 1993 Towncar; but I don't recall seeing one of these on the system as it was shown to me. I've been having problems with the air suspension going down and had the two airshocks replaced since there was a crack in one of them. Since that replacement, though - they continue to go down, and the mechanic says there is no leak in the line or the shocks - or at the compressor; and he doesn't know what is causing the recurring depletion. Would this be a sort of 'backflow prevention' valve (which I'd imagine to be a critical part of such a system) - and if so, where is it supposed to be located ? By the compressor, or by the air-shocks ?Robert B.Jan 05, 2024
