How to install passenger light fixture for 2014 Jeep Patriot?Frances G.May 24, 2020

Best Answer:For installation: Step 1: Read your owner's manual to get a better grasp of where you should access the corner light. It's usually accessed from under the hood or near the car's wheels. Step 2: Disconnect the electrical wirings connected to the corner light. Step 3: Rotate the socket in a counterclockwise direction to remove it from the corner light assembly. The bulb should also be removed along with the socket. Step 4: Remove the damaged corner light from your car by unfastening the screws that hold the housing assembly in place. Use a screwdriver for this procedure. If needed, carefully push the corner light until it pops out of its mounting location. Step 5: Put the replacement corner light over the area where you removed the old one. Step 6: Secure the new corner light using the same screws that you removed. Fasten the screws back on the housing assembly and make sure that you apply just the right amount of torque. Step 7: Put the socket and bulb into the new corner light assembly. Step 8: Reattach the electrical wirings. Make sure that you get the connections right to prevent electrical failures. Step 9: Test if the new corner light is working properly.
