I could have purchased these U-joint at a local store at a better price.
The front U-joints on a Jeep 4-wheel drive are very difficult to repllace. The bearing caps are 'slightly oversized' for a good fit. Baloney, because of the over sizing thebearings are exteremely difficult to repllace. I purchased a "Crown" Axle outer shaft and "Crown" U-joints thinking that with the same manufacturer the bearings would fit better. Not the case. The bearings have a very good locking ring so I fail to see the reason for the extreme oversizing. I put the bearings in the freezer overnight before installation and they were still too big for easy installation.
