Driver Side Mirror Glass, Heated, Without Blind Spot Feature, Flat, With Backing Plate
"New Look" Mirror
Driver side mirror replaced due to a damaged clouded original mirror. New mirror only had 2 wired connections to heating plate versus 3 for the old mirror, so not sure what I'm missing since it's not winter yet and can't test it out to see if the replacement melts the frost and snow. Pretty easy to install. Once installed, the new mirror did appear to have about 1/8" gap between the shell of the mirror housing attached to the car, so I added thin layer of bubble wrap and black duct tape to fill the space so water is less likely to get behind the mirror. All in all, looks great, clear and clean sideview vision, which has definitely improved driving safety. Also, should mention the best part...I saved over $300 on the glass and probably another $200 in labor that I was quoted to remove and replace the mirror from the car dealer . Thanks!
