This will not fit the regular 1997 Jeep Cherokee with a 4 or 6 cylinder engine. There are actually 2 part numbers available for the throttle cable for your 1997 Jeep Cherokee 4 or 6 cyinder engine. The part numbers are 52077578 (with AW4 transmission) and 52079504 (without AW4 transmission type). Please click the 1st link below to order the part without the AW4 transmission type.
