(03 G35 sedan base) So I have HIDs on my car. Can I buy these and just swap everything from my old headlights into these? I've been stuck with this problem for awhile because I don't wanna buy them and end up not being able to install them because I can't swap my HIDs into these new ones.RonnieMay 05, 2022
Best Answer:Hi Ronald, I'm glad to assist you. No, this will not be compatible. The HID headlights have ballasts and the connectors are different. You will still need an HID to halogen headlight conversion kit to make this work. We also do not carry that headlight conversion kit. Anzo Black Headlights - one minor problem
These headlights appear to be built tough, look awesome, and fit perfectly. The light pattern for both the low and high beams is great. They are brighter and provide better coverage then the original equipment headlights. Getting them installed is quite a major problem due to the design by Infiniti. You have to take the front portion of the wheel well cover off, the aero cover under the engine, and the bumper cover as well to be able to get to all four bolts that hold the headlights in place. Aside from that the headlights are fantastic except for one minor technical difficulty. There seems to be a minor condensation issue even though there is one very tiny outlet in the back of the headlight about the size of a ball point pen tip. Maybe that hole for condensation to escape should be larger - like a quarter of an inch ;-) The tiny pin hole just doesn't appear to be enough even after the headlights have been on for a couple of hours. I thought the bulbs would heat up the interior of the headlight and any moisture inside would be evacuated. However, there seems to still be teaspoon or two of condensation that builds up now a then at the very front of the headlight. Since it is summer, the condensation goes away fairly soon, but I am concerned what will happen during the winter. Hopefully, the condensation will not build up on me and cause algae or something to start growing inside.
