all of my doors do not lock from the drivers interior door lock side switch and my fob does not work either to lock or unlock them . is this the part I need to possibly repair? When car is put into drive, the doors should all automatically lock which also does not happen. thanks.J K.Oct 08, 2021
Best Answer:Hi Kraft, I'm glad to assist you. One possible problem could be the switch for the driver side. Not necessarily the door lock actuator itself. Please have the main door switch tested thoroughly and see if there are fuses or relay that could have blown up. You still need to have your vehicle checked carefully by a mechanic. Get this, fits perfectly, way cheaper than the other guys.
Was a little skeptical of getting this part since it was only about $50. The dealer wanted $250, advanced auto couldn't get it (had the passenger side for around $180 as well), and Autozone was around $180. Got it installed yesterday fit my 2011 Veracruz (driver door) perfectly, all the clips, plugs, cables, etc were the same as the OEM one I removed. The way I see it, if it doesn't last forever, I can buy 3 - 4 more and still pay about the same as getting 1 from the other places.
