Perfect fit for my 2013 Hyundai Tucson Limited. Old camera was burry and unusable. This camera works wonderfully. Took me maybe 45 minutes to install.
- Lift tailgate
- Carefully remove plastic trim (6 screws and some plastic fasteners)
- Remove the back body panel that contains the camera (8-10 nuts. You’ll need to pop/break the plastic fasteners - don’t worry, you don’t need ‘em)
- Unscrew camera from panel and remove wiring harness. Harness slides from back and use a small flathead screwdriver to carefully pry the prong up.
- Note orientation of bracket on the old camera. Re-orient bracket on new if necessary (had to for mine - just unscrew, reorient, rescrew)
- Screw new camera into place. Test before you reassemble.
- Reassemble body panel and plastic trim in reverse order, being careful with alignment and fasteners.
- Voila! New camera!
