Best Answer:Hi Cedrick, I'm glad to assist you. Yes, it is pre-filled with a certain amount of oil. But manufacturers recommend that you drain the "shipping oil" and refill with the "proper PAG oil" amount upon installation. The other purpose of the added oil is to protect the compressor during its stay on the dealer's shelves, retailers' stores, and in the course of transport. I checked your order, and our replacement brand has run out of stock. Your order would not push through. The next best brand we have is the GPD with part number 6511491. Not unless you need to change the PAG oil type or just adjust the oil level to a certain amount.
