I am not one to usually leave bad reviews however the part I received versus what is described and shown in the picture is not like it at all. It’s a very flimsy paper thin shield which doesn’t stay attached to the car- had I known this I wouldn’t have made the purchase

2008 Santa Fe Engine Splash Shield
This ‘splash shield’ is quite a bit thiner than the OEM splash shield it replaced. I’m kinda not sure about it so far. It fits perfectly with all four bolt holes in the right place and it also slides it above the front facia (sp) as it should. Once installed, it appears to be solid enough however, I haven’t yet had any ‘highway time’ to know. My thoughts are that this one should flex better if I scrape something like how I tore up the OEM splash shield. If it is firm enough such that it doesn’t rattle or make any noise at highway speeds, it’ll warrant another star. Can’t do five stars for something this thin compared to OEM but I could be wrong.
