I have a 2000 Honda Prelude base model H22A4 vtech, are the pistons forged and can any ring set fit on them? My block just got bored and sleeved (cast iron sleeves now but still is going to be at standard size bore) I MIGHT try to put a turbo on and I'm new to all this, yup, this is my first complete rebuild 😬 so any other information added would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.Eric O.Sep 01, 2021
Best Answer:Hello! The stock pistons are not forged. You can use forged pistons with your cast iron sleeves. Most aftermarket forged pistons will come with the appropriate piston rings. If you plan to turbo it, talk to whoever will be tuning it to make sure you order pistons with the correct compression ratio for your power goal and planned fuel octane usage
