Product Q&A

I have a 2011 Honda Pilot EX-L. It looks like the tensioner pulley and idler pulley are a part of the same assembly here. Is that true? Usually, on older cars, they are two separate pulleys. Does the pilot have another idler pulley other than the 2 in this assembly? Thanks!Eric B.Aug 04, 2020
Best Answer:Hello! This is the only idler/tensioner in your belt drive, conveniently in one assembly!

Yes I've just purchased and new tensioner and not once but twice now the bolt connecting it to the block has snapped in two at the end of the threaded part any ideas ?BaseballmikeOct 30, 2021
Best Answer:Hello! That is very odd. Have you verified the proper torque spec for the mounting bolts?

What is the size of bolt used to release tension on the belt? I know the oe part is. 19mm. What about this part? I’ve tried other and they where neither a 19 or 20mm which in turn I could not release tension.Edwar D.Jan 25, 2021
Best Answer:Hi Edwar, I do not have access to that information, but you can contact your local dealership for hardware specifications.

what is the torque specification on bolts when installing?kennith l.Dec 12, 2020
Best Answer:Hi Kenneth, We recommend referring to a good repair manual for bolt torque settings and step by step instructions. It may require basic automotive knowledge for proper installation and professional installation is always recommended.
