Best Answer:Hi Ricky, thank you for reaching out. This item requires anti-theft reprogramming equipment for installation. This product doesn't include an immobilizer unit. In most cases, when the part failure is not related to the immobilizer, you will need to transfer the immobilizer unit from the old part to the new one. The transponder in the key supplied is an empty cloneable blank and will not start the vehicle. It will not work with the factory learn procedures. The information from the original key needs to be transferred to the key provided using a cloning tool available at many locksmiths.
