Thin O-ring!
As for the oil pump.... The O-ring was very concerning! The O-ring appeared to be very thin for the depth of the seating area. I put the car back together and it is still leaking oil! I cannot conferm that the O-ring is the culprit but would be HIGHLY disappointed if my fears come to pass!
