What if I do not want to do the core charge?tifah h.Feb 22, 2021
Best Answer:Hi Tifah, The core charge, is a form of deposit you pay until returning your old part. If you don't have the core at the time of purchase, you must pay the core charge. That charge is refunded to you when you return the core(old original part). You must pay the core charge when you buy the part. But if you do not have the old part anymore, you need to pay for the core charge deposit but you will not be able to get the refund of the core charge since you do not have the original defective part anymore. This is designed to encourage the return of the old part. Returning cores can save you money on replacement parts.
