If you can replace your air filter, you can replace your blower motor resistor. I leave the major work to the pros, but why pay 3-4X for something you can easily do yourself? When the shop told me it would cost $250 to replace this part, I decided to check it out online. Watching a couple "how to" videos online made it clear this was a fairly easy "do-it-yourself" job.
