I replaced the mass airflow sensor on my 2018 Chevy Silverado and the engine light code still keeps popping up disabling the cruise control. Why is this happening?CdPlayaSep 25, 2023
Best Answer:Hi Cedric, I'm glad to assist you. It is possible that the replacement sensor is still defective. Another reason is there might be a problem with the engine management system. One possibility is some faulty oxygen sensor or a vacuum leak (which can cause the check engine light to be on and disable the cruise control). Lastly, there could be a problem with the wiring or socket connectors. Please check/trace the wirings for any pushed-back terminals causing a non-contact in the wiring connection.
