Can a bad ignition switch cause all Guage lights to go on,on instrument  panel while driving.  for me to get Guage lights to go off while driving I have to manually turn off headlights then turn them back on.after that just the security Guage light stays on.what can be causing this to happen.2003 gmc envoy slt?Steven A.Dec 28, 2021
Best Answer:Hello! I doubt it's your ignition switch. If all warning lights come on randomly, it sounds to me like either an internal issue with the gauge cluster or perhaps an intermittent short in the communication wires.

2005 Trailblazer, key sticks, then 2nd or 3rd try it turns, other times it turns but not start then 2nd or 3rd try would start, now turns but won't start although dash lights etc come on (so it's not the battery).  Is it the switch needs replaced? Thank you in advance!RoseRDec 26, 2022
Best Answer:Hi Rose, I'm glad to be of assistance to you. That sounds like the ignition switch or the ignition lock cylinder (or both) that needs to be replaced on your 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer. You can have the vehicle checked by a certified mechanic for real-time diagnosis or just replace both. Let me provide you with both links below to complete your order at discounted prices while supplies last.
