Manufacturing error
Some Dorman w/s wiper arms do not fit the mounting stud and will come loose and even fall off. This problem is a manufacturing error and was covered by a Dorman technical bulletin, details of which can be found on the internet. . The defective wiper arm must be secured to the stuid by some sort of glue or Liquid Nails which will make it difficult to remove if that ever becomes necessary. The best solution is to return the wiper arm and get another wiper arm. Keep doing that until you get one that fits properly.
