Used the provided clips and third time I opened the tailgate it came apart. Used GM old clips and it works fine. The rubber to keep water a=out around the handle does not fit tight. May take it all apart yet again and see if the plastic GM part will go in. The handle is metal which I like, it seems so dumb to make a decent product and fail on parts worth pennies.
