This is not for a locking tailgate type and also designed for a flared or step side bed only. As per checking we do not have the kit for the locking tailgate.

I am looking at this kit as a replacement for my 1991 GMC Sierra 1500 long bed tailgate latch assembly. However, the above sets all reference step-side. Fast and was the correct fitment. Seems to be well made. Would be nice if they sent bolts or an option for bolts. Site was clear that they were not included though.

The parts didn't have any instructions with making assembly harder than it should of been. The push rods were too short so the old push rods had to be used. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with how it opens & closes my tailgate
