Fuel Tank Filler Neck
It works but not correct
Technically it works, but it's not an exact fit for my 2001 Ranger. The filler neck on my truck was corroded and leaking. I had to fill up slowly and it leaked while doing it. I ordered this because it was supposed to be an exact fit. Bought new lines locally, took the bed off, and discovered it was not the same. Vent hose is different size. I need to be able to fill up the truck so I threw it on and hoped for the best. Went to fill up and gas shot out around the pump handle. So I still fill up slowly, still get a hand cramp, but I no longer leak gas while filling. When I get time I'll order what they show is an exact fit for a 2000 ranger because it looks like what I took off. I don't know if it's Ford's fault or this website for the post not being correct, but I know I didn't verify before I started work.
