This cat-back connects to the catalytic converter pipe (cat pipe) using a slip-fit connection, where the exhaust system slides over the end of the cat pipe and is secured with clamps. Since your cat pipe does not have a flange, the Dynomax 39315 system is designed to accommodate this configuration. The exhaust tubing on the Dynomax system will have a slightly larger diameter than the cat pipe, allowing it to fit over the end of the pipe.
