Best Answer:From what I can tell (though I have not bought this hood yet) it appears to be the stock oem style hood for 05-09 mustangs, so if your asking about appearance yes it will look like the stock 4.0 v6 base model hood or the GT hoods that don’t have the scoops, as for composition they are all aluminum and I have brought an aftermarket bumper as well it was definitely thinner and lighter by 10-20% now I can’t say for this hood as I have yet to buy it but I would not be too surprised if it was also thinner and lighter in the metal department (it is a long hood in the first place so I’d say just be carful of leaning on it or pushing real hard on it when your washing it, but other then that it should be a perfectly acceptable hood to use on any of the mustangs compatible with the year).

This hood is for the 2005-2009 Ford Mustang without the hood scoop only. The hood scoop will not work with this item.
