Discription, states front, converter, i need front and back converters, are all four included? No nicknameMar 25, 2023
Best Answer:Yes - as the picture shows they have front and rear for both sides. For your reference as I wrote in my review you will lose an inch in ground clearance because the design of the front one is too close to the firewall/floor and it cannot be forced higher. Also you will need two plugs or old O2 sensors as it has 3 ports per side.

This listing has pictures of two different types of ends that go just before the muffler..... one picture is of a "flared" end and one is not....... this has caused us a lot of trouble this afternoon as we received the one that is incorrect for our application and will not fit.... IF you click thru the pictures you will see the ends are different in some of the pictures?Donald E.Jul 01, 2021
Best Answer:Hi Donald, I'm glad to help you out. Yes, I agree that the ends are different cause that is how the original specifications are. The images are correct representations of the part. I used your email address but, did not find an order history. If you bought the part from our company you may reach out to our Customer Service Department at 1-866-529-0412. They can better help you. I hope this helps. Have a nice day.

Customer Reviews

This installation took place in a personal garage with the car on jack stands. Lots of rolling under the car and foul language. The Y-pipe was guaranteed to fit. It did. But not without difficulties. First was there were 6 bung holes for oxygen sensors in the new pipe and only 4 sensor connections on the car. What should I do about the 2 empty bung holes?. I called carparts.com support. The friendly agent had to refer me to technical support who were to contact me within 24 hours. I never heard from technical support. So I plugged the 2 extra holes with 2 old oxygen sensors minus their wires. Then after wrestling the pipe into place and mounting the front 2 pipe socket to the manifolds. Upon tightening the flange to the studs, they bottomed out on the manifold stud collars before making a tight connection. We removed the y pipe and had to replace the existing manifold studs with bolts and wrestle the pipe back in place. We were then able to make a good firm connection. Another problem we encountered was where the 2 pipe pieces connect together. It was very difficult to make them fit, they seemed to be a bit mis-aligned. The whole assembly seems to hang a bit lower than the original pipe. The Installation seems solid. Test drove well. Time will tell. This installation took us about 16 hours and several beers

This part does not fit the 2001 Ford Mustang properly as advertised. The left fork of the assembly does not appear to be welded together properly. After installation I only had about an inch of ground clearance. I had to get some utiltiy wire and bend the assembly upward and hold in place with the wire. Now I have about 3 inches of ground clearance which is still very low. I'm concerned it won't make it over speed bumps.
