Front Reman Series Wiper Motor, Remanufactured
Does Not Come With New Bolts
The first thing I noticed when I took the wiper motor out of the box is that it didn't come with new bolts. Apparently they expected me to use the old bolts, which is unfortunate because the bolt that attached the shaft on the old wiper motor to the wiper linkage was corroded and snapped when I tried to remove it. I ended up going to a local hardware store and matching what old bolts did fit and I bought completely new bolts. For reference if you get this wiper motor the hex bolt size is 6 mm x 0.47 mm. It's Item No. 755811 at Lowes. I had also bought longer bolts, 6 mm x 0.78 mm (Item No. 755813) but these bolts were just a tad bit too long. If you can get a bolt that is in between these two in length it should fit perfectly.
